hmmm...

should I be scared that I just monologued to myself in the mirror for 10 minutes?

I've always found some kind of interest in psychoanalysing myself, but isn't this going a bit too far?

  1. nope - I do it for everything that is important.

I practice exactly what I am going to say. that being said... I'd shorten the speech. 10 minutes is a long stretch of talk

  2. Well... yes, that would be perfectly acceptable. If you had a speech to prepare for.

However, I feel that openly rebuking myself to my face is slightly more psychotic...

  3. how else are you going to be able to gauge your body language unless you can see what you are looking like while rebuking yourself? :)

  5. hell yes!

I will speak in front of a mirror whenever I am going to say something important - or something that I don't want to screw up.

I have all possible responses planned. I know what facial expression I will attempt to give off given different response. I know how I want to react, and what words I will say if things are pointed in different directions.

If its important - I'll put the effort, and a good talking to myself in the mirror approach works well
